Welcome to Sarah’s Letter!
Loving greetings to you in the most precious Name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names!
Once a dad gave his son a gift on his birthday. It was a do-it-yourself little boat. The young boy spent many hours building it into a beautiful little sailboat, crafting it down to the finest detail. He then took it to a nearby river to sail it. He enjoyed playing with it each day after school. One day, when he put it in the water to play, an unexpected wind moved it away from him very quickly. Though he chased it along the bank, he couldn’t keep up with it. The strong wind and current carried the boat far away. The heartbroken boy at the loss of his boat. He knew how hard he would have to work to build another sailboat.
Farther down the river, a man found the little boat. He cleaned it, took it to town, and sold it to a shopkeeper. Few days later, as the boy was walking through town, he noticed a boat in a store window. When he went near, it looked exactly like his lost boat. Entering the store, looking at it closely, he told the owner that the boat belonged to him. It had his own little marks on it, but he couldn’t prove to the shopkeeper that the boat was his. The man told him the only way he could get the boat was to pay the price and buy it. The boy wanted it back so badly that he did exactly that. While going home with the little boat in his hand, he looked at it and said,
“Little boat, now you’re twice mine! Once I made you but you got lost. Now I bought you back.”
In the same way, regardless of religion or caste, we all are like this little boat. Once Almighty God created us. But sin took us away from God and lost our way into Satan’s authority. But God is ready to forgive us our sins and take us back to Him ― to give us the free gift of Eternal Life ― by paying a ransom with sinless precious Blood and life of His only Son, Jesus Christ.
Dear Friend, I would love you to understand that the intension of my heart to write this letter is not to change your religion/church or to convert you into Christian religion but to let you know, how you too can receive God’s free gift of Eternal Life ― that if you die today, how you get the assurance that you reach heaven! Have you ever wished for a new life full of heavenly peace, joy, and love? Are you troubled by depression, anxiety, guilt, shame, fears, hopelessness, loneliness, even thoughts of death or suicide?
Dear Friend, today you can begin to enjoy that new life in Christ Jesus. God has already offered this free gift for you! You just need to receive it. Please read this letter carefully to know, understand, and make the gift yours, now…
The Bible says… Almighty God Who created the heavens and the earth, created (made) man from the dust of the earth, in His own image and His likeness. Then God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being. God named this first man ‘Adam.’ God planted a garden in the east, in Eden, and took Adam to the Garden to work it and take care of it. (Genesis 1:27; 2:7-8; 15)
God sprouted (grew) the land with vegetation—every sort of seed-bearing plant, and trees that grow seed-bearing fruit — The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil grew in the middle of the garden. God commanded Adam that he may freely eat from any fruit of any tree in the garden but not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (tree of death). If he ate of it, he surely would die in the same day. As God found Adam alone, He gave him a female support (Eve). They both lived in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 1:11-12, 29; 2:9, 15-25)
Adam and Eve ate that fruit which God forbid, thus they sinned against God by disobedience. As a result, they were cursed and died spiritually (they were separated from God and were driven out of the Garden of Eden.) Adam lived 930 years, and then he died (physically). (Genesis 3:23-24; 5:5) <to know more details, please read the second part of Sarah’s Letter>
The Bible says… “… the soul that sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4b, 20)
“For the wages (payment) of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23a)
“Therefore as sin (disobedience to God; breaking God’s Law) came into the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all men sinned.” (Romans 5:12)
“All have turned away, all have become corrupt;” (Psalm 14.3; Romans 3.12)
“Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
“None is righteous, no, not one;” (Romans 3:10)
Without any exception of religion/caste/gender, all people in this world ― past, present and future, are born from Adam. So all people have become sinners and are subjected to curse, slavery under Satan and death, and finally ending up in hell―the final place of eternal punishment of sin, but …
“… the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23B; NLT) (Eternal Life means eternal deliverance from God’s wrath, sin, and the punishment of sin in hell, and to live always (eternally) with Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.)
Almighty God Who hates sin but desires the repentance of sinners, loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to earth to redeem (save) us from the wrath of God, our sins and from the punishment of sin in hell, and to bless us with Eternal Life so that we will always be with Jesus.
“For God so loved the world (you and me) that he (God) gave his only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in him (Jesus) should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born sinless into this world as Son of Man, lived sinless here. Jesus took our sins and shed His precious Blood as penalty of our sins and thus died, in our place. Jesus was buried and God raised Him from the dead on the third day as per Scripture. He bought us all with His life as our ransom. (See Matthew 20:28; Mark 10:45; Romans 5:8, 10:9B; 1 Corinthians 15:3) This is God’s amazing love!
“For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life.” (Leviticus 17:11; 14; Genesis 9:4)
“….without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.” (Hebrew 9:22)
“For our sake he (God) made him (Jesus) to be sin who (Jesus) knew no sin, so that in him (Jesus) we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
God provided Eternal Life (salvation) as a free gift to all mankind through His Son Jesus. Now what do you have to do to receive this free salvation? Please read carefully and receive it now…
When Adam broke the Commandment of God by eating the forbidden fruit, he sinned against God and became a ‘sinner.’ Because of God’s verdict (judgment) that ‘the day he shall eat of it, he surely shall die’ ― Adam died spiritually. All people in the whole world are the children of this ‘Adam the sinner’ ― means, we all are sinners born from the Adam the sinner!
To be more clear, God created all living things ― man, trees and animals ― with ‘seed’ to reproduce ‘same kind’ of progeny (generations). God created Adam in His likeness and His image so that Adam may reproduce his progeny (children) of his ‘same kind.’ (Genesis 1:11-12, 25-27) The sin of breaking God’s Commandment, killed the spirit of Adam (got separated from God), and Adam came to know that he is naked. When Adam ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (seed of the tree of death), sin entered into Adam and the seed of the forbidden fruit corrupted the seed (sperm) of Adam. Adam by disobeying God, obeyed Satan ― thus, Adam lost his God-nature (glory of God) and inherited the ‘sin-nature from Satan’ ― we all became sinners not by doing sins but, because we are children of Adam the sinner, we all are born in sin ― we are born-sinners! <for more detailed information, please read the second part of Sarah’s Letter >
“… all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23)
A sinner reproduces only same kind of generation of sinners! Thus with this inherited sin-nature, Adam reproduced his generation (children) with sin-nature. This sin-nature is transferred from Adam to his generations and finally to us by birth. The sin-nature is a predisposition toward sin. Because of this sin-nature we have a tendency to sin ― means, it has become impossible for us not to sin. (Genesis 5:3) Thus, because of sin, regardless of religion or caste or gender, all people have become unclean/unholy (filthy) before the Holy God.
“We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment.” (Isaiah 64:4)
“Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? There is not one.” (Job 14:4)
God hates sin. Sin is the source of all evil. It is sin that separates us from God. (Isaiah 59:2) Like we earn money by work, we earn death by sinning. (Romans 6:23a) Curses and Death ― both spiritual and physical ― came into mankind through sin. Jesus said that if anyone wants to get into heaven, he/she must to have their dead spirit which is inherited from Adam (dead by the sin of Adam), be born again ― be born anew. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) ― “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5) Born again means a brand new person in Christ.
[Water here means the Word of God, which you read here now, and the Spirit (Capital ‘S’) means the Holy Spirit of God.]
For every birth (life) in this natural world ― whether it is man, trees or animals ― a seed (sperm) and an egg (ovum) are required. So is it in the spiritual world also; here the “egg” is our spirit and the “seed” is the incorruptible, everlasting Word of God.
“ You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God,” (1 Peter 1:23)
God’s Word is sharper than any sword. When a sinner hears or reads the Word of God, it will prick his/her heart, like with sword. “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12; AMPLIFIED)
Then, the Holy Spirit of God will convict (and convince) him/her [here, you] concerning “sin” and “righteousness” and “judgment.” The Holy Spirit will help the reader to understand that he/she is a sinner and unless the person receives the free gift of righteousness of Christ, he/she will perish in hell by judgment. “…when he (the Holy Spirit) comes, he will convict (convince) the world (sinners) concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:” (John 16:8-11) <for details, please read second part of Sarah’s Letter >
It means, when a person (here, you) reads or hears the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will convict (and convince) that person to understand that all people in the world are sinners and are going towards hell. When you understand it, believe this truth, and humble yourself before God, and confess (say “Sorry” for/ acknowledge) your sins directly to God and sincerely repent (turn away from) of them. If you do so, in His grace, God will:
- forgive you of all your sins (however big or small),
- give you faith to believe that Jesus came for you, shed His precious Blood for the remission of your sins, and died in your place,
- give you grace (undeserved favor) to believe and receive (confess/acknowledge/accept) Jesus as the Lord of your life and your personal Savior into our life.
That means, though God knows that we are sinners, He wants us to understand that we need to agree with God about our sin and then turn away from it and turn toward God to live a holy, trustworthy life according God’s Word. God is waiting for our sincere confession (say “Sorry”) to forgive us our sins and to make us clean and white with the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9 NIV)
“Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)
Suppose you have invited a guest for dinner. What would you do? You would make your home cleaner, and when the guest comes and knocks at the door, you would open the door and say, “Please come in.” Right?
Just as we want our house to be clean to receive a guest for dinner, we want our hearts to be clean to invite/receive Jesus into our hearts. The first step is realizing that our hearts are “dirty” (full of sin). In fact, our hearts are so bad that we can’t even see how awful they are!
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked/ corrupt:” (Jeremiah 17:9; KJV+RSV)
“What comes out of a man is what defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a man.” (Mark 7:20-23)
The truth is that, like “we” clean our house with soap and water, we can NOT clean our heart “by our own”. We need a “Professional” ― an Expert ― to clean our filthy heart. The only Expert Who can clean our heart is Jesus; and the only thing that can clean our sinful hearts is the sinless precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
“…the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7b)
“In him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace which he lavished upon us.” (Ephesians 1:7-8)
“You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold, but [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.” (1 Peter 1:18-19; AMPLIFIED)
A “guest” comes for only a short visit. Jesus is not a guest. Jesus comes in to our hearts (life) ― not for short time, but to stay forever as the new LORD of our lives and to lead us into all truth by His Holy Spirit.
Our body is a home and the heart is the door. It is locked from inside. We have to unlock it, open the door (our heart), and personally invite Jesus into our heart.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)
Dear friend, would you please invite Jesus into your heart now? It takes less than a minute!
The Bible promises… “That if you confess (say/acknowledge) with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
Please carefully read, believe and SAY (confess) these small sentences below, so you can hear it with your own ears. It is important to say this seriously, from your heart:
God, I now confess and accept Jesus as my LORD, and my Savior.
I believe, Jesus shed His sinless Blood as penalty for my sins and died in my place to save me. Jesus was buried and God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day as per Scripture.
I am a sinner and am sorry for my sins. Please forgive my sins ― wash me and cleanse me with the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
My LORD Jesus, please come into my heart, NOW. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me into all the truth.
I thank You LORD Jesus for saving me.
Dear friend, if you have really believed and seriously said those small sentences from your heart, let me ask you a simple question. Please think and tell me:
Where is Jesus now?
If your answer is, “Jesus is in my heart now,” I believe you really have said it. (If your answer was not that, please carefully say those sentences again, and invite Jesus into your heart now; and continue reading… )
Yes, Jesus is in your heart now. We say “thank you” when we receive something, right? Thanking is the purest expression of faith. So please say, “Thank You Jesus, for coming into my heart!”
Until you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and invited Him into your heart, your relationship with Almighty God was as “a Creator and His creation,” but now it’s changed to “a loving Father and His beloved son/daughter relationship.” Moreover, until you received Jesus, you belonged to Satan and Satan was your father. (Matthew 3:7, 12:34, 23:33; Luke 3:7; John 8:44) Now, you are born again and belong to God the Father who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which He loves you. (Ephesians 2:4) Don’t you feel a joy in your heart as Jesus has come into your heart now? Be always grateful to God! God will never forsake anyone who comes to Him through Jesus, His Son! We must know what God has done for us and love Him with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our strength, and with all our mind. (Luke 10:27) “He (God the Father) who did not spare his own Son (Jesus) but gave him up for us all, will he (God the Father) not also give us all things with him?” (Romans 8:32) “But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Once you were physically born into this world from your parents. Now you are spiritually born again into the eternal family of Almighty God as a child of God ― saved from the Wrath of God. Therefore rejoice dear brother/sister, be happy! Born again means a “brand new person” in Christ. That is what God wants all people to be. Being born again is the greatest of all miracles!
“Therefore if any person is (ingrafted) in Christ, the Messiah, he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old (previous moral and spiritual condition) has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17; AMPLIFIED)
There is only one condition for any person of any religion, to become a child of Almighty God, i.e., “But to all who received him (Jesus), who believed in his (Jesus’) name, he gave power to become children of God; who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
This is how any person can receive by faith the free gift of Eternal Life that God ― by His amazing love and grace ― has prepared through Jesus Christ for all mankind ― this is how a person becomes born again or be saved. This is God’s simple “Plan of Salvation!” This is the greatest miracle!
PLEASE NOTE: God is a Spirit. As we all are born as children of the first man Adam, we all are born ‘dead in sin’ ― means, we all are born spiritually dead from a spiritually dead father. Therefore we cannot save ourselves from the wrath of God and eternal hell. Like a dead body can do nothing, we who are spiritually dead are totally unable to do any good works or righteous deeds that will please Holy God. The Bible says our good works are like ‘polluted/filthy garment’ before God. We all have become unclean by sin and are not eligible (unqualified/unworthy) to enter heaven. Because of sins, all people are bound for hell; that’s the place we rightly deserve! Our religion or denomination/church or the clergy can never save us. No human being can save us from hellfire, but only Jesus! God Who is rich in mercy and grace, out of the great love with which He loves us, provided salvation (deliverance) through His only Son Jesus ― a totally free gift ― which we need to receive by faith! (refs. John 3:16, 4:24; Ephesians 2:1; Colossians 2:13; Isaiah 64:6)
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God ― not because of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
LORD Jesus came as a Savior to save us and make us ―the unworthy people― worthy. Jesus is the only way to heaven! The Bible says that we cannot “earn” heaven. It’s a gift from God, by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. Anyone who reject this free offer from God shall perish in hell. (ref. John 3:16)
REMEMBER! The Bible says, “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment…” (Hebrews 9:27). God has fixed an appointment for each one of us to meet Him personally ― face-to-face, on the Eternal Judgment Day and give account of everything we do, say, and think here on this earth. There are no exceptions! Absolutely no one will be exempted! God has given us freedom to choose ― freedom to receive Jesus or reject Jesus. But the eternal destiny (heaven/hell) is dependent on the decision you make now. So make wise decision and live today as if you will stand before God tomorrow!
When we cook food, we first taste and make sure it is good before we serve to others. Likewise, I have tasted the amazing love and grace of my LORD Jesus Christ and have known that He is so good. Hence I encourage you to invite Jesus into your heart, through the small sentences below:
God, I now confess and accept JESUS as my Lord, and my Savior. I believe, Jesus shed His sinless Blood as penalty for my sins and died in my place to save me. Jesus was buried and God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day as per Scripture. I am a sinner and am sorry for my sins. Please forgive my sins and wash me and cleanse me with the precious Blood of Jesus. LORD Jesus, please come into my heart, NOW. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me into all the truth. Thank You LORD Jesus for saving me.
If you had died before accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you would have been lost forever into unquenchable, never-ending torture in hellfire. That’s the seriousness of the need to be born again!!! It is God’s own and only plan to save the mankind – not of church or religion. As you now understand this truth and its seriousness that anyone who does not have Jesus will go to hell, I request you to send Sarah’s Letter to all your loving friends and beloved family/relatives by phone or by email, or through Twitter or post it on your Face book. Try your best to lead everyone you can to heaven. Jesus is coming soon…
Dear brother/sister, please email me to firstname.lastname@example.org so that I too may rejoice with you as you have accepted Jesus today (through this Letter).
Being born again is your spiritual birthday! Please write this date (todate) in your Bible or somewhere that you may remember later and give thanks to Jesus! If anyone asks you, “Are you saved or born again?” say, “By His grace, yes, I am.” May God bless you in abundance.
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13 NIV)
May the love of our Father in heaven, the grace and peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you too, always. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
